There was a time in American politics when the word “summit” called to mind Roosevelt at Yalta, Kennedy in Vienna, Reagan at Reykjavik. The fate of empires rose and fell on such summits. The legacies of statesmen were made and broken.

I would have a heart attack if I heard any politician say something like.
. : " Let's look at fiscal responsibility " or " Let's be responsible and work together " or " We are responsible for this partisan division, let's fix it " Instead we are throwing party line jabs back and forth. They have the common people so fooled. Lets wake up and vote out ALL of them, start fresh !! Oh wait, that won't happen, because you are too impressed with the two things your politician does to see the 100's of back door deals he makes with the other idiots (insert liberal / conservative) politician. They ALL need to go, unfortunately 90% of the people are too blind to see. So we continue to sink, all the while spinning in a circle, when the shore is 100 feet away.
