Foreign ministers from Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France were set to gather Tuesday to try to revive a shaky ceasefire in east Ukraine as Russian President Vladimir Putin ruled out an "apocalyptic scenario" of all-out war.

I have seen many things since 9-11 that I thought I would never see in my lifetime.
USA changed when the towers went down. Many remember the cold war- this is not the USSR, this is not the Communists, and this is something NEW and DIFFERENT - the old ways died when the Berlin Wall fell. Old rules and ways do not define this situation. This is a new book being written- Russia cannot bring back the USSR, it will not be permitted. The USA has been attacked on its homeland and this is not the 1960-2000 USA. This is not the cold war USA – the USA is different and sees the World differently. If Russia longs for empire, it is not ideological – it is just aggression and empire building for its own sake. I do not believe this situation is currently under control. The World, USA and Russia grasping for the old ways in a new World. The old ways died when the Berlin Wall fell. Old rules and ways do not define this situation. This is a new book being written- Russia cannot bring back the USSR, it will not be permitted. The USA can not forget 9-11 or be perceived as weak. For 20 years the World choose Peace and it was grand. No one should stand for a return to the old ways, and for peace that lasts- the most perilous of wars ever fought may occur. I wish the World would stop and think. We are doing things the old way again – a way that fails in my opinion. The easy way, the non-creative way, the way of the Savages.
